How many anov. cycles are normal?From: Aimee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 7 Mar 2001 20:53:59 -0600 (CST)
I've searched the archives and found several helpful answers to questions I had on anovulatory cycles, but this one I haven't found an answer to. I know it is normal to have an anovulatory cycle occassionally, but how occassionally is normal? I've been charting my temperatures for 7 cycles..on cycle 4 ovulation was questionable (I rose above a cover line, but fell back several times) and this cycle, #7, I'm on cycle day 29 (ovulation typically on day 21 w/12 day luteal phase) and I haven't ovulated yet (havent' gotten over 97.5). I'm not sure if it's just delayed or if this is anov., too. How often is normal? What can cause it? Thanks in advance!
