Montgomery, MD: "Re: genital warts" Reply: Melody: "Re: genital warts" When i was 7 months pregnant,i broke out with what i was told by a doc was HPV genital warts,they were small pink/white bumps, he put some med on them and 'burned' them off,after the baby and my hormones returned to normal,i have not had a 'break out'since. nor has my husband ever had any on him...there was never any test done to confirm that it was hpv,and the doc,was not my reg doc, i have had 2 pap smears since and they have came back normal... my questions are this....could this have been something else?? and is there a blood test or something i can request to confirm that i have hpv?? and if i did have this,why did i start and stop breaking out so suddenly??? why dont my husband show signs of it too?? thank you for helping me try to understand this.....Ann Next message: anonymous@obgyn.net: "pelvic and back pain" Previous message: Terry: "Light Bleeding" Next in thread: Lynn D.
