I am 49, last week I had a total vaginal hysterectomy with rectal repairs. The operation was a success but when I was on the way to recovery, I had a cardiac arrest. I was gone for 3-4 minutes. At which time many test were administered. The hospital indicated that no damage had been done and that it was just a fluke situation. I had an epidural with my operation. I have had no previous problems before and was in perfect condition for this operation. I find it hard to believe that it was just a fluke situation. How can I find out what happened to me between the operation and recovery. Anne, sastreck@hotmail.com
