I had a miscarriage and subsequent D&C at 13 weeks pregnancy (2nd pregnancy), 7 weeks ago. I had no pain and minor short term bleeding following the d&c. 5 days later I had heavy bleeding and minor pain in my lower right (ovary area). It lasted 3 days, then 5 days later another episode. I had what I thought was a period 29 days after the d&c. Longer, heavier and more painful than usual period. One week after 6 week checkup, where uterus was found to be normal, I had very heavy bleeding and pain in my lower right side for 5 days. I saw my ob-gyn again, but he couldn't find anything. Called it annovulation. One week later, I am now having pain in my lower right on a continuous basis, more painful when I walk. No active bleeding though. I am concerned about the ongoing pain which also seems to be worse before a bowel movement. What else can it be if my uterus is normal and the d&c found nothing abnormal. Can it affect my fertility, I am 38 and want to have my second child soon.
