Montgomery, MD: "Re: brown discharge" I am 23 years old and this is my first month on Modicon (birth control pill). I have had regular periods all my life and I had an annual exam 2 months ago before I started this pill with no bad results from any tests that were given. However, this month since I have started Modicon, I have been experiencing spotting on and off and then the past few days I have had a brown discharge. I don't know if this is a problem or not. There is also a mild odor that I noticed today. Is it simply my body adjusting to the pill? Should I be concerned? I don't have any other pain or discomfort. Please advise!
