Ralph, Infertility is a rather complex issue and requires a work-up that is fairly systematic. There are three primary causes of infertility; these include male factor, female anatomic factors and ovulatory factors. All of these issues require evaluation. Depending upon the findings, a game plan must be made. This plan will outline the directions taken in the fertility pursuit. If this has not been clearly defined for you, I would suggest seeking the consultation of a reproductive endocrinologist or ask about for an obstetrician in your area with a special interest in infertility...
