Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: ovulation after tubal ligation" I can't seem to find any information about what exactly happens to an ovum after a tubal ligation procedure is done. I know that ovulation still occurs but what exactly happens to the "egg" since it is not able to travel through the fallopian tube into the uterus. Where does it go? It has to go somewhere.
