It takes every bit of 3 months for even a regular episiotomy scar to heal (my wife is standing over my shoulder assuring me of this from her experience of three deliveries with 1 episiotomy and 2 lacerations). She is also an OB/GYN. In your case, 3 months is probably not long enough. In the end, it will soften. Be patient.
