3 days after having my baby, my episitomy stitches did not hold. I was re-stitched in my obgyn office. 4 days after that guess, what they did not hold again!! This time I was put in the hospital to have a secondary episitomy repair. finally they held enough for me to start healing up. Now the problem is the scar tissue. It will crack & bleed, also the area is always tender and sore. Sometimes it feels like it pulling apart. I was given cream to apply to soften it up, that does not seem to be working. It has been 3 months since the last repair. I have not had intercourse yet, the fear of doing damage to the area is great not to mention the pain. My doctor says all is fine with that area and that is something that I will have to live with the rest of my life. Can there be anything done to help this problem.
