I am currently taking Ortho-Tricyclen for birth control. I've noticed that during the last 10 days on the pills, before my period, my symptons are much worse making intercourse impossible. Is there a connection to the pain and the hormones (more progesterone?) I'm receiving? Would I be better off using a different form of birth control such as Depo Provera? Thank you for your time. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts on this matter.
