Low Estrogen level-Possible early menopause at 28?

I recently saw my gyn because I hadn't had a period in 4 months, despite being on a 10-day a month cycle of Provera (prescribed 6 months ago for irregular and heavy bleeding). My gyn did an ultrasound (results were normal) and a hormone blood test. The results showed my estrogen level was a little low (he didn't give me the exact numbers) but that the rest of the levels were normal. He said he couldn't explain why my estrogen level was a little low and prescribed Mircette to induce a period. It never occurred to me to mention to him but I have also been having night sweats off and on for the last 2 months (and one hot flash 3 weeks ago)! Now I'm wondering if the night sweats and low estrogen level could be related and mean early menopause, though I'm only 28! Is it possible for a 28 yr old to be going through early menopause? If so, could being overweight cause it? And, what could cause my estrogen level to be a little low? Any insight is appreciated!
