We don't use blanket consents so I can't be sure but to your specific
point about records, it is my understanding that your records cannot be
sent anywhere without your consent. You give consent to your insurance
company when you sign on with them. As far as other doctors, we only
send records with either verbal or written consent with the exception of
HIV tests in NY - specific consent needs to be given for the HIV test
alone.
