Pain of EndometriousFrom: Tammy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 18 Feb 2001 01:21:17 -0600 (CST)
I was told that I have endometrious in August 2000, I went in to get my tubes tied since my family is finished. But before my sugery I started to get this pain that is hard for me to explain. But my doctor suspected endometrious and said that he would know more when he went in to do the surgery. Now knowing what endometrious is. I must have had this for along time since I have many complications since I have started being able to concieve a child with many miscarriages and complicated pregnancies. It explains everything that has happened for along time. Since being told of having endometrious I have lots of pain and irregular periods including flooding out pads and tampax's during the first three days of my periods. And the pain that comes for at least two to three weeks before my periods arrive. It almost like a visious circle because just as my period is gone. I start with the pain with in a few days of being off of my period. Please tell what I can do to stop this pain? I have a doctors appointment on the 27 but to me that is not soon enough some times. Do I have any options? Is there anyone out there that I can relate too? I know that endometrious can strike in many different ways.
