Modicon is 35, not 50, micrograms of estrogen. Your health care provider may try to discuss with your HMO the need for your particular brand of pill, as well as the need to keep some 50 microgram pill on their HMO formulary. Alternately, you could see how Modicon works for you. Good luck in fighting the good fight.
