Well, that's definitely the way to go. Without a gynecological exam, it's hard to really say that "everything is fine."

That wouldn't be my first guess. Getting an exam will probably reassure you about that worry. You'll keep worrying about cancer until you get an exam, so the sooner you get an appointment, the sooner you can rest.

Ack! You really need to be seen right away, preferably in the next couple of days. Please don't put off this appointment any longer. You may have an infection that needs immediate attention.
