Hi Pnut,

DepoProvera is an injectable form of birth control. "Depo" is the route of delivery (injection).

I have had the same thing you just experienced, and while it was extremely painful until I passed it, it was nothing to be concerned about. In fact, it happened to me while I was on coumadin for blood clots. I called the Dr. and he said that it was nothing to worry about and only if I was hemmoraging would he be concerned (due to the coumadin...he was surprised actually with the dose I was on that I wasn't bleeding heavily).

So, what you passed is okay.....just keep an eye on things. I would say if you were able to get through the pain of the cast tearing off and passing, you are just fine! I wanted to die for the eight hours or so I was cramping....I've yet to have a baby, but boy, I sure feel like I went through labor on that one ;o)....
