There are two possibilities here. The first would be that an infection was introduced by the vaginal probe to the opening of the urethra and this ascended to the bladder causing an infection. The other would be that the area of the urethra or its opening were bruised at the time of the scan. Neither of these two possibilities seem very likely but it is all I can think of... Lynn
