A mosaic pattern is the term used to describe "neovascularization" which is the term to describe the development of small vessels in and around the cells that are cervical dysplasia. The pattern is one of the features looked for at the time of colposcopy to direct biopsies. It sounds as though your physician is satified with the biopsy results and want to wait and recheck in 6 months... Lynn
