enmetrial biopsy and ovarian cancerFrom: Deborah (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 27 Jan 2001 18:35:16 -0600 (CST)
Please answer my earlier post about abnormal bleeding and endometrial biopsy. I am really worried that with the back pain and leg pain (feels like sciatica) that I am feeling that this might be ovarian cancer. I have had my tubes tied for 4 years am 44 years old and have two children born at age 31 and 33. I took the pill for about 3 years. I nursed my children a total of about one year. I am experiencing vaginal bleeding lighter than a normal period but heavier than spotting for 1 week. I have lost five pounds in the last week not sure if related to stress or illness. I am having a endmertial biopsy 1/30 and a ultrasound within the next two weeks. I had a pap smear which showed some benine celler changes. My dr said the lowest change and not be normal. I had a pap last year which was normal. I have had some cramping but this may be related to the bleeding Please help with an answer as soon as possible I am sick with worry.
