Can You have periods during pregnancy?From: LeAnn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 27 Jan 2001 18:04:36 -0600 (CST)
I'm 20 years old and married me and my husband have been trying to conceive. I had stopped taking birthcontrol around October of last year. My periods were still going normaly until December, no period showed up. So a week after my period was supposed to arrive i took a pregnancy test it showed neg. so me and my hubby decided it was to soon and we decided to wait. In January about a week into it i started bleeding for 3 days but this was really really really light and darker then usual. Then on Jan 23 I started what i think is my period. To back up a little maybe 1 or 2 weeks after the very light bleeding I started having i guess u could say symptoms of being pregnant. My question is can i have my period if i am pregnant? I have read that some women do experance this and i have been told so. After my period the "symptoms" have not gone away. Should i go ahead and try another test?
