A question for Dr. Shanahan-need some info about Pain ManagementFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 26 Jan 2001 21:51:25 -0800 (PST)
Dr. Shanahan, Good evening!! I hope that you and Hunter are doing well. I have a question that I would like to ask you that concerns information about Pain Management. My question is this: Do you happen to know any links that could lead me to the major organizations of Pain Management that might be similar to ACOG? I found out about one the Pain Foundation but I'm not sure of any other links as to whether there is a college for Pain Management Specialists like there is for ACOG. Also, are you aware of any newer techniques to treat endometrial and vulvar pain? Right now my situation seems to all be endo related. I'm seeing my dr on the 3rd and I want to be able to have some additional ideas that I can use that will keep me from going to Pain Management b/c the drs here in town don't have much knowledge of vulvodynia pain especially and I can't do Physical Therapy for that b/c of religious and personal beliefs. Thank you so much. ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Falls/4659/kristyspage.html Yahoo! Auctions - Buy the things you want at great prices.
