Having a D&C will not keep you from getting pregnant, unless something happens during the procedure, but from all I have learned, that is extremely rare. You don't mention the reason for the D&C, but I have seen, even as recent as yesterday or Wednesday by Dr. Montgomery say that Provera given for three months for a certain number of days each month works well, and he rarely has to perform this procedure anymore....you might want to talk to your Dr. about this.
