Thank you Dr. McIntoch for clearing up my misunderstanding on the subject of adenomyosis.

Now I have a few more question's to pose. Since I have the classic signs of Adenomyosis. Would it be wise to ask for an MRI before my husband and I make the big "H" decision? Will this give us more assurance that I have Adenoyosis? I have read stories of woman whose dr's have suspected Ad. but when they did the pathology on the uterus they did not have it.

I understand that this decision is completely up to me and I have to be the one to make the finale choice. However I would like to know that I tried all that is medically possible before I gave up. Thank you again in advance cristen

also could someone give the pronunciation (pre nun se a shen) of Adenomyosis. Thank you.
