wife's conditionFrom: Charles (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 23 Jan 2001 21:14:01 -0600 (CST)
First, let me clarify that I am a man. My wife was just diagnosed with a prolapsed bladder. Nine years ago she had a vaginal hysterectomy and the bladder has prolapsed into her vagina. We are going to the surgeon 1-24-01 for her to be examined for surgery. I am ignorant in this field and need to know several things; the degree of success, the limitations following surgery, and the actual seriousness of this (which I imagine is significant). I don't know if I will get a response tonight but I will check back tomorrow in case someone answers. First hand experience will be helpful, perhaps, and I am looking for professional input. Thank you for allowing me to ask. She is 47 years old, has had three children, all grown. In fact, we jst had our second grandson! Sincerely, Charles R. Nixon, Ph.D.
