pain during ovulationFrom: tracy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 23 Jan 2001 09:07:06 -0600 (CST)
I have been experiencing for approximately six months now, severe abdominal pain. The pain is always a couple of days after my period. This month (January), however, is the worse I've experienced. I have severe pain that stays at about a constant 4/10 and sometimes exceeds to a 5 or 6. I have a very sore lower back, stiff neck, nauseau and diarrhea. My doctor thinks the pain is "probably" caused by ovulation and I have been sent for an ultrasound to search for any cysts. I don't have the results as yet, but I should in a couple of days. She doesn't think it is cysts because she says the pain is usually before a period, not after. If you know of anyone experiencing the same symptoms, or if you can give me some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. My email address is: outdoors28@hotmail.com
