Sometimes it seems like it has stopped only to start right back up. I have some clots sometimes then bright red bleeding. I am breastfeeding. I started taking the mini-pill at 6 weeks. My question is , "Is it normal to still have bleeding at this time?". If so, how long could I expect it to continue? When I went for my postpartum check it was when I was 5 weeks post. Do I need to call my doctor back? He did not act worried that I was still bleeding at that time. This is my 2nd child. My first child I had quit bleeding at 6 weeks.
