May be but doesn't make sense medically. the tampon goes in the vagina
and not packed into the cervix which is the only way to slow down blood
flow. BTW, when some of my patients bleed very heavily from fibroids or
other problems, they can use two tampons and a pad at a time and they
still bleed heavily. Doesn't seem to slow them down. No medical paper
I'm aware of on this topic.
