Whats wrong with me??? Have I got Endometriosis??? Whats the next step??? Discharge of Embryo's???From: Karen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 17 Jan 2001 04:55:42 -0600 (CST)
I have been seeing a Gyn / Specialist now for over 2 year and I've been going through a lot of pelvic pain, lower back pain, irregular periods, nausiea, vomiting, painful intercourse, painful after intercourse, sharp pain in the virginal area, tiredness and other signs of Endometriosis for the past 7 / 4 years. My doctor put me on the BCP (Birth Control Pill) when I first started with irregular periods but after only 4 months my periods became irregular once again (I take it my body got used to BCP). My doctor then refered my to see a Gyn / Specialist who decided it was best to do a Lap (which was done on "Sep 15th 1999" but all was clear). When I returned to see my Gyn / Specialist he told me about trying H.R.T which I was put on for three weeks, then a break for a week and then take again for three week which I took for six months all together but even that wasn't working so I was told to take the H.R.T tablets for three months continuously and then to return and see him. After taking the H.R.T tablets for a total of nine months he told me about the "Mirena Coil" which I had fitted on "Sep 16th 2000" and so far its causeing more pain that I was in before and Im in pain every day, not one day has passed sinec having it fitted without pain, Im also still gettig the irregular periods of between 5 / 14 days break between each period which can last anything from 3/ 44 days at a time. Also since having the "Mirena Coil" fitted I've had two discharges which look very much like Embrio's and when I explained the discharge to my doctor he had the look on him face like "His isn't meant to happen". I have been back to see my doctor who is refering me to go back to my Gyn / Specialist to have a word with him but to be honest I just want him to take the "Mirena Coil" out because its clear its causeing more harm than good. I just want to know, is it ENDOMETRIOSIS??????? the discharges I had was about an inch long with tiny little clusters in a bud type shape at the end of the inch long womb tissue, was this what i thought it was, an EMBRIYO???????
