Montgomery, MD: "Re: swollen labia...allergic reaction?" i have been taking the antibiotic bactrin for the past four days to treat a UTI. this morning, i experienced pain in my vaginal area and later in the evening i noticed how swollen my inner labia and area around my vaginal opening have become. i am also currently taking orthotricyclen. i dont have any unusual discharge or itching. could this be a yeast infection? allergic reaction? thank you.
