I have a ? for anyone who may be able to help. I 26 years old underwent a hysterscopy and D&C for severe bleeding 8/99. This didn't help my problems, so in 2/00 dr. suggested abalation, which also hasn't helped. I had a tubal in 97, after the birth of my second child, and that is when the severe bleeding/clotting and cramps began. I saw a new gyn today, she did an endrometrial biopsy and the results will be back later in the week. She recommended another hysterscopy and D&C, or possible hystercotomy. I do know that I have endrometrial polyps (this wasn't discussed with me by former gyn, new gyn found it in my records). I am wondering if another D&C and hystercopy will help? My periods last 10-16 days, I am anemic and have no energy during this time. I have tried numerous b/c pills to help with the severe bleeding, to no avail. It seems as if my body has a mind of its own. Any advice/input will be appreciated.
