PCS is a condition where there are varicose veins in the pelvis. Just like varicose veins in the leg and hemorrhoids can be painful, so can the vessels in the pelvis. There are some controversial treatments that have been reported, and a few gyns don't believe it exists. Your friend and you should talk wiht her doc anbout options for treatment.
