It causes my upper stomach to stick out and feel hard. It is almost like a ball up there or like I am still pregnant. if it is pushed on it makes me feel very nauseous. It is VERY uncomfortable and VERY embarrassing. I was told my actually stomach and "leathery casing" is pushing it out since my stomach muscles have torn. Do you have any information on this situation?
Sandi

It is called diastasis recti. The only way to fix it is to have a surgeon pull the muscles together during surgery. It is a problem caused by pregnancy as much as by your surgeries. Hope this helps.
