Pain with sex is not uncommon with endometriosis. IT may happen with cysts as well. You could talk to your doctor about going on Lupron without surgery -- that is an acceptible approach. IF you go ahead with the surgery, ask your doctor if endo is found at the time of surgery, will s/he be able to remove it then and there. IF your doctor cannot remove the endo, you may wish to find one who can. Cysts can be removed during laparoscopy, too, if needed. If it is endo, it is a condition that may bother you off and on until menopause. >
