Estrogen cream is very highly absorbed by the vaginal tissue and could potentially cause a problem. We know that the estrogen from birth control pills does not seem to cause a problem, but with daily use of 2 grams, the dosage may be enough to potentially be an issue. If you are not using birth control, I would advise not using the cream. Regarding the cutaneous use of estrogen, I am aware of no data to support its beneficial use for skin care... Lynn
