Dear Doctors,

-- Started a new pack of pills on 12/23. Took my pills as usual until the morning of 12/26 when I came down with a stomach virus. I could not keep anything down that whole day, so I did not take that days pill until late AM on the 27th, and then have continued as normal. Since 12/29-30, I have been experiencing some bleeding every day, which I would call a little more than spotting, but not as heavy as a regular period....
I have been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for about 8 months and only had this problem one other time, with it being much lighter and lasting only a day or two.
Could this be as a result of the problems I had in taking the pills regularly last week, or might there be a bigger problem here? Can I expect this bleeding to stop soon or will it continue till the end of the pack?
