Kim,
It is approved for six months in a person's lifetime, not three times.
Drs. are now using it for longer periods of time, and If I am not
mistaken, there are studies currently being conducted to test to find
out if it is safe for longer use.
It is important that one take in calcium to help the bones. Many Drs.
give addback therapy while their patient is on Lupron, not only to help
with the side effects such as hot flashes, but also to help the bones.
