info about doucheing

I have a bacterial infection that I have been suffering from and treating with antibiotics for about two months. I read in a herbal remedy book that a douche mixture of 1 part hydrogen peroxide and eight parts water had a chemical make-up similar to that of the cleansing of the normal vagina. Is this true? Is it or would it possibly help in getting rid of this infection? I need a break from antibiotics. Not a single thing we've tried has gotten rid of it completely, and it comes back twice as bad after each dose.

Also, I've heard, and suspect that the infection could be related to a reaction of some sort to latex condoms. I've seen polyurthene condoms and lambskin condoms specifically for those individuals sensitive to latex...any thoughts on this related to the bacterial infections? Would these types make it less likey to get it from condoms?

Any other thoughts, things tried, etc would be welcomed... Thanks.
