orgasm after surgery

Hi! I had a myomectomy (open abdominal surgery) 5.5 weeks ago. I no longer am experiencing pain from the surgery. I know that my doctor said that I could not have sexual intercourse until 6 weeks post surgery.

What about intimate contact that might lead up to orgasm. Last night, my boyfriend and I were being intimate, and I had an orgasm. This caused me to have pain where my right ovary is (cramp like feeling). I used to have slight pain in this area (I had a fibroid in that vicinity)when I had an orgasm, and used to chalk it up as fibroid related.

Am I allowed to have an orgasm now? Is the pain during orgasm from the surgery?

Thanks! Susan
