Bladder Too Tight - cystocele/cystourethrocele repair

I had rectocele, cyctocele, and cystourethrocele repair two weeks ago. The rectocele repair went very well. The repairs to the bladder have resulted in an inability to void completely without self catherization. What is the minimum time I must wait to have this reversed? If I had known how this would turn out I would have stayed with wearing extra absorbent pads (stress incontinence). This is worse to deal with on a psychological basis. My sincere thanks for any professional advice or advice learned through common experience.
