I guess I can just consider all of the bleeding (though excessive) last
Friday as my period for right now, there seems to be no other
explanation. I know I kept Proctor & Gamble in business for the week!
:) Finally able to go pad free today. No bleeding, no discharge
(usually have bloody discharge for 3 days afterwards). What concerns me
about the migraines is that they are waking me up in the early mornings.
You see I don't remember what I dream unless they are really bad and
wake me up. So I am thinking I must be having some strange dreams, plus
with the stress of the holidays and all of the testing to get the
insurance company to approve the hysterectomy (I'm 36). I have been
complaining to my doctors since September of chronic pelvic pain and
abnormal excessive periods for the last 7 months. Have done the MRI,
the Ultrasounds, the Endometrial Biopsy, the Pap smear, and the Pelvic
exams. My uterus was enlarged to that of an 11 week pregnancy in
October, and last Friday they did the internal ultrasound and measured
one of the fibroids at 3cm. They didn't measure the size of my uterus
now, but I look like I am 5 months pregnant. So I am sure that my
doctor will do another ultrasound for the uterine measurement. Other
than the fibroids there is nothing else that could make my uterus
enlarge like this except adenomyosis. All I know is that I am tired of
all of the poking, prodding, pinching, peircing, pressing etccc... I
have been dealing with this off and on since my second full term
pregnancy 12 years ago and it became even worse after my son was born 6
years ago. Then all hell broke loose again about 7-8 months ago with
the irregular periods and the heavier than normal bleeing and enlongated
periods. UUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHh
Thanks for listening and you have a safe new years eve as well.
