When I was having periods I would always get a migraine at the begining of the period, and the day it went off. I had the hysterectomy 11/99 and was migraine free up to Sept 2000. All of a sudden I started with migraines again, horrible ones too. We tried just the Midrin/Compazine, but I was getting migraines every 2 days or so. We added Depakote begining of December, I think it has helped. May or may not have been period last week. Any kind of stress can throw a cycle off. have a safe New Year's!
