I'm confused about this. thank you so very much. >>thanks for your response, but what do you mean by microscopically noticable? Should I not see white clumpy discharge in and with the gel discharge? I don't think that this is necessarily normal or abnormal. It is not unusual to see some white mucous associated with a vaginitis. What I meant was that when looked at with a microscope, this white mucous usually contains a lot of inflammatory cells in a patient with vaginitis. It is a reactive discharge-body's reaction to an irritation. would this only be seen under a microscope? No, it can be seen as you describe. if this is the case, than is the stuff that I see, increasing each day of use (2 days to go until completed) not common? I think that it is fine and really doesn't have a bearing one way or the other unless you are having other symptoms-particularly vaginal/vulvar irritation. Would I be experiencing a yeast infection now? It is certainly possible. If so, I would expect symptoms-again irritative symptoms. Can you treat both at the same time if this is what the clumpy stuff is? As long as you are not having any significant irritative symptoms, I would finish the gel and see how things behave in the week or so following. If you begin to get irritative symptoms, then certainly don't wait, give your physician a call... Lynn
