I had a supracervical hyster. for fibroids about 4 years ago. I could only keep one ovary. After my surgery, I felt like I was having normal cycles. I did spot monthly, during the time I would expect a period. It was very light. My doc said there could be some endometrial tissue in the cervix. My ovary shut down 2 years after the surgery. I am on hormone replacement and doing fine. Hope this helps some and good luck. If you have other questions feel free to post to me. I am glad I had my surgery. Anne
