I have been thinking more and more about having a supracervical hysterectomy abdominally instead of a total hysterecomy for reasons everyone has mentioned in this forum. However, I also read some posting from women who have been experiencing period-like bleeding after such an operation. What I want to know is what percent of women who choose to have supracervical hyst. experience bleeding? Is this problem very common?
