Montgomery, MD: "Re: Period Question!!!" I stopped the pill in August and did not get a period for three months. Then I took Aygestin to force it to come. Now its been about 46 days since the cycle with Aygestin and I got my period on my own today...yippee. My question is could the Aygestin be left in my system and caused me to get my cycle again or did I get my period on my own? Could the Aygestin just have helped me to regulate?
