Lynn, thanks for replying - I thought it might be the condoms too, but I had been using them with a different partner (about a year before this current partner) for almost two years. I've never had luck with the pill - particularly because I gain a lot of weight and it really messes with my blood sugar. Are there other birth control options - such as those contraceptives you insert before intercourse? Are they reliable, and will they still cause the same infection? I've also tried switching brands of condoms,but that didn't seem to make a difference. Just an added note - I still have that crampy feeling today, it's been about 24 hours, and it feels like I should be getting my period...those kind of crampy feelings...

PS - I'm all for no more anitbiotics!!!! :-) sorry to keep bugging you! Thanks again a
