metrogel

have been told that a milky discharge is normal. not large amounts, but it does "sputter" out when I bear-down using the restroom. no irritation, no strong odor (what odor there is smells like baby formula?!) I have had a tube of metrogel that I never used, as the culture came back nonbacterial, a while ago. I decided that this discharge may be bacterial vaginitis, I am on my 2nd day of treatment. no more milky discharge, just clear gel and little chunks of dry white stuff. is this the metrogel at work?
