just a quick questionFrom: Tina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 24 Dec 2000 15:13:28 -0600 (CST)
The last laparoscopy/hysteroscopy I had was 5 years ago with the resulting of fallopian tube adhesions that were released during the surgery. My question is this, over the past recent years things have gone haywire. I have had the ultrasounds, the pap, the pelvic, the MRI and on this past Thursday I had the endometrial biopsy. Will I be required to have another laparoscopy/hystroscopy before having the hysterectomy? The last ultrasound measured one of the fibroids at 3cm, but my doctor says there are more in there. My uterus is enlarged to that of a 5 month pregnancy. After the biopsy on Thursday (12/21) I ended up in the ER on 12/22 for severe cramps (like being stabbed) and excessive bleeding, so I have to go back to see my ob/gyn on Tuesday 12/27 and also on 1/4 for the biopsy results. Any advice? Thanks and Happy Holidays
