i tell my patients that there are 3 reasons to call with period problems -

#1 periods longer that 10 days and heavy

#2 periods routinely closed than 21 days apart for a few months in a row

#3 bleeding so heavy you can't change pads fast enough over a several hour time span.

So far, you're OK in my book.
