I always had very small labia minora (both sides of the labia minora the same size). Two years ago I was on the birth control pill for symptoms related to pcos. At that time I was 38 years old and my left side of my labia minora started growing larger than my right side. My clitoris is the same size as it has always been...normal. My left labia minora is more than double the size of my right side. What is the cause of this? Is this caused by pcos? Is it caused by the pill? Is it heredity? Could this be an adrenal problem? Why did this start happening at 38 years old? Why isn't the right side growing? Will the right side ever grow to match the left side? I havent had a pelvic exam in over 4 years and I am too embarrased to ask someone directly. I am suffering in silence and I really need answers.
